This cask aged rum from Trevethan in Cornwall is very special. They have been maturing stocks for 2 years now and have now bottled it when it has reached its peak flavour.

It started life as a simple wash of molasses and water, then after some time in the copper pot stills and stepped with coffee beans for extra flavour... yes coffee beans (we very much rate this idea, its delicious) it became a beautifully smooth white rum with hints of coffee and orange. From, here it was then aged in ex bourbon barrels in turn this has taken them coffee and orange notes to become married to vanilla, dark fruit and ginger.
