This whisky has been matured in ex sherry and Bourbon casks, the result is sublime and not to be missed in this annual release. Aromas of rich oak and gentle nutmeg, sweet aromas and baked ripe figs, sultanas and black cherries. The palate is rich and dense like a fruit cake with toasted almonds and cinnamon. The juicy zest of oranges and mandarins mellow perfectly with manuka honey, muscovado sugar, baked apricots and a touch of white pepper for complexity.
