Description
Damsons were first introduced to Britain in the Roman times. Early records show they were grown around Medway and were traded by a merchant located in the settlement of Strood, within 5 miles of the Copper Rivet Distillery, this provenance inspired them to make a Damson Gin.
Made by distilling their gin with the harvested damsons and then rested in American oak barrels. The result is a rich and ripe fruit profile with a tiny hint of vanilla on the nose, a warm embrace of jammy sweetness hugs your pallet.
