The Re-Imagination of Time is the pinnacle of the Glenfiddich range and of the category. Decades in the making, these whiskies crown the spine of the Glenfiddich range and define the reality of what single malt whisky can be. Less than 0.01% of their whisky stocks mature and reach the age that is suitable to be considered to go into each decanter.

The 30 year old focuses on the moment when their Master Distiller suspends the development of the whisky with his decision to bottle it capturing the whisky at that precise moment in time as the most perfect expression of an aged Glenfiddich and preserving it for all eternity. Matured in both American and European oak barrels and held in a contemporary glass bottle that is adorned by their iconic stag in platinum, paying homage to the original ‘ tround ’ design created in 1956 by Modernist designer Hans Schleger . The design evokes the image of moving ribbons, each one frozen in time to form elegant cut out windows, revealing the regal decanter inside. The design’s dynamic lines and complex structure create the illusion that the bottle is suspended, effortlessly, in mid air.

Aromas are exquisitely structured with a fine balance of hearty oak married with sweet, subtle sherry notes. The flavour is deep, woody and interlaced with delicate floral accents in a complex combination. The finish is warm, honeyed and exceptionally long-lasting.
