A Rare Discover from Distant Shores is a story of freedom, creativity, innovation and friendship. After tasting the high quality of Caroni Rum, David and the team moved some 20 year old Balvenie in 2014 to these very special Caroni casks.

The nose is rich and indulgent with notes of muscovado sugar and manuka honey. Lighter fruit notes intersperse the aroma with occasional hints of green banana and light spice. The taste is beautifully smooth with a velvet vanilla viscosity. The initial burst of sweetness graduates to treacle toffee, aged leather and deep oak tannins. The finish is lingering with sweet nuances and a wonderful mouth coating oiliness.
