Buttery malty aromas with fruit cake, dried apricots and honey. The secondary ageing gives a light sherry like tang and a touch of old cedar to the nose. Malty sultanas, caramelised nuts and a burnt butter character come through on the palate before a weighty finish with oak spice, creme brulee and a spirity kick to finish it off.

The Mossburn Vintage Casks range are a collection of Single Malt Whiskies each issuing from a strictly limited and select batch of casks. Each numbered release will only yield a finite number of bottles. While this means that they can never replicate the particular character of these Single Malts, it also offers an opportunity to sample what they believe to be an exceptional example of the whisky made by one of Scotland's most distinguished distilleries.
