Full bodied wine from Schola Sarmentin in Salento  from 80% Nergroamaro and 20% Malvasia Nera with a vine age of over 50 years. Ripe dark fruits on the nose with an earthy spiciness. The palate is rich with vegetale notes then riper darker fruits, spice and leather on the finish.

Aged for 8 months in French oak tonneau with a further 8 months bottle aging
