Made from the pomace of Moscato d'Asti DOCG grapes and receives a brief ageing in small barrels of mixed wood. Romano Levi, the 'angelic grappa maker' was just 17 when he took over the family distillery. Using the same equipment and hand crafted production process, he has become one of the most famous 'grappaiolo', not only for his grappa but also his delightful hand drawn labels.
