This Nebbiolo from Pio Cesare comes from a selection of the vineyards owned by the family in La Morra and Serralunga in the Barolo area, in San Rocco Seno D'Elvio found in the Barbaresco area.

This wine has gone through vinification in steel tanks after maceration on the skins for around 20 days. This is then refined in French and Slavonian oak barrels for about 24 months in barriques for a small part.

The result is a wine with lovely poise, it is intense and ripe yet still fresh, soft and almost sweet with the tannins that give it pleasantness and fragrance.
