On the nose this 25 year old single malt has soft autumnal fruits, runny honey, crystallized ginger and raw sugar cane. An underlying rich oakiness creates complexity and structure. The palate is at the start bold with vanilla oak flavours that slowly dissipate to reveal layers of toasted marshmallows, fresh fruit and cinnamon infused apple tart. The finish is exceptionally long lasting with a touch of sweetness.
