Description
Deep ruby garnet. Spicy nose with black-pepper and dark berry fruit. Black forest cake on the palate with a red berry finish and elegant spice. Fine and grainy tannins on the aftertaste.
This wine is named after Raka, the beloved fishing boat of Piet Dreyer, proprietor of Raka Wines. The harvest is the culmination of a year's hard work for viticulturist and labourers alike. It is through the hard but joyous labour of these toilers of the vines that grapes worthy of the skills of the winemaker were produced. This wine is a tribute to them all!
