The combination of sherry casks brings the wonderful winter flavours of raisin and sultanas alongside warming spicy notes notes of clove, cinnamon and nutmeg - a truly festive feast for the palate. With a rich and velvety mouth feel and long, nutty, dry finish Glen Scotia Sherry Double is the perfect accompaniment to many festive delicacies.

Using a series of unpeated distillations from throughout 2008 this wonderful spirit was matured in first fill bourbon barrels before undergoing further maturation in a combination of Pedro Ximenes sherry and oloroso sherry first fill hogsheads. After a further 10 months maturation in sherry casks the spirit is married back together in bourbon casks before bottling at cask strength.
