To create this sloe and blackcurrant gin they have distilled a botanicaly intense version of their classic London Dry Gin and then blend it with sloe berries that are foraged from the wilds of Burgundy, a French blackcurrant liqueur, an Italian cherry liqueur and little sugar. Everything is then rested for several months in ex-whiskey barrels at their distillery.
This sloe gin is intense and re-assuringly 'ginny' but also possessing a multifaceted stone fruit character with a welcome syrupy sweetness and subtle wood influence.
