A bit of other grape varieties enhances the freshness, structure and colour, while 22 months in French oak barrels yields exquisite complexity. Cherries, cassis and raspberry aromas are complemented by tobacco, hazelnut and balsamic notes. The voluptuous, elegant palate offers the tannins and a complex blend of cherries, dark chocolate, sweet spices and a fresh acidity to the fore.

A delightful wine ready for drinking but will cellar well and evolve over the years.
