Oreg have added loads of strawberries at distillation to the traditional recipe of Öreg Gin. As for the next step they soaked in more strawberries for a few weeks so that we got the full natural flavour of the fresh fruit. Finally, they have balanced the acidity of the succulent fruit with some sugar. Öreg Old Tom Strawberry Gin is distilled in Cornwall and features strawberries from around the area in South West England.

It is all natural, distilled in a traditional copper pot still made in small batches and hand crafted from 14 botanicals, including lemon and orange peel, pine bud, lavender and elder flower. The Öreg Old Tom Strawberry Gin isn't sickly sweet and resembles the taste of boiled sweets. In reality, Öreg delivers full-on, fresh strawberry flavours when neat, and a summery, fresh and enjoyable gin and tonic. Just like strawberries, there is a sweetness to the gin, and orris root, pepper and sea-buckthorn keep the extremity of the drink balancing to ensure it is not overpowering, while the citrus notes freshen it up.

Nose: Sweet strawberry, citrus notes and juniper undertones.
Palate: Smooth, sweet, juniper, strawberry and citrus tones.
Finish: Strawberry with peppery juniper, smooth, clean.
