This Piemonte Blend has been made with a combination of Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards in the Martinenga Valley in Barbaresco. South to South west facing vineyards produce superb fruit which is vinified separatley and aged in French oak barriques for 28 months before blending, with further bottle aging. Intense nose with ripe fruits, floral, pepper and chocolate. Full on the palate with delicate fruit combinations that pleases the olfactory senses. On the finish the wine is long and persistent with macerated fruits and mineral notes.
Food Pairings: The structure of Cabernet Sauvignon and the acidity of Barbera make this wine ideal not only with red meats and medium-aged cheeses, but also with first courses, meat sauces and vegetables.
