This single cask malt whisky is brought to you by the Wemyss family (pronounced 'weems'). The name means caves in Scots and it evokes the rocky shore of Fife, where Wemyss Castle has looked out to sea for over 800 years. Added their long-standing passion for whisky to the expertise of Charlie Maclean and you get a unique collection of connoisseur malts.

Each individual cask is named according to its flavours and aromas. Waxed Jackets: When water is added to this single cask malt it brings out the waxiness in the style of 'waxed jackets'.
