Tommasi "Ripasso" is the unique result of fermenting Valpolicella Classico Superiore on the warm grape skins from which Amarone has been fermented. This process, used only in rare vintage years, imparts the richness of character and personality of a great wine to an already superior wine.
This wine showcases its personality through a deep ruby red colour. To the nose it is has a rich and spicy perfume with black peppery notes in the background. On the palate it is a full bodied beauty! Very intense and spicy with sweet cherry flavours.
Made from 70% Corvina Veronese, 25% Rondinella and 5% Corvinone.
