Description
This is a heavenly 10 year old Irish single malt whiskey that has been maturing in bourbon barrels with a seductive sherry cask finish for your enjoyment!
In the shade of medieval Christ Church Cathedral lay Copper Alley. By day it rang to the cries of hawkers, tradesmen, tanners and merchants. By night it was the pickpockets, cut-throats, tavern-keepers and brothel-owners while they plied their busy trade.
This fantastic single malt whiskey carries lovely sweet aromas of delicate honey and sugared floral notes of apple blossom and red fruits. The final 6 months of its 10 year maturation period was spent in 30 year old sherry casks made from european oak. This 6 months parted notes of baked plums, ripe red grapes and spice. It has a rounded palate of oak, golden syrup and rich dark chocolate.
Best enjoyed neat and a little drop of water to release some of the aromas hidden deep within Copper Alley.
