Crocera Barbera is an excellent example of a quality wine from the Piemonte region of Italy that over delivers on taste and value. Sourced from a 6 hectares of south east and west facing slopes on the Il Cascinone estate in the Monferrato Hills of Piemonte. The wine spends 12 months in French oak barrels, 10-15% being new oak. Spicy dark chocolate, black cherry and toasted spice on the nose. A rich palate with plum and sour cherry, dark chocolate and juicy acidity on the finish.

Food Matching: Goes well with duck in plum sauce, rich stews and BBQ meats.
