This primitivo is a prime example of the high quality wines coming out of Puglia. Made from 35 to 50 year old vines this is an intense dark berry fruit wine with some fantastic balsamic finishing notes to balance it.

In the glass it showcases its beautiful ruby red garnet colour off with lifting aromas of ripe raspberries and blackberries between plum jam notes. On the palate it is dry, warm and soft with great tannic structure that is persistent and rounded with toasted notes.
