Coriole first pioneered and planted Sangiovese in 1985. It has proved o be an exciting contrast to Shiraz, the principal variety of the vineyard. It has a great affinity with many foods due to the blend of the Sangiovese's spice and structure balanced by the lushness of McLaren Vale Shiraz.
This wine showcases redcurrant and dark chocolate notes with some earthy notes on the nose. On the palate there is liquorice and spice that lead into a medium bodied palate to highlight the juicy red currant profile.
