This unusual unpeated 18 year old Caol Ila has an appetising salty edge that is clean and fresh as the pale sky that follows clearing rains, while it is crisp, smooth with hints of fruit with their wild strawberry sweetness dance boldly across the tongue like flecks of foam over wind lashed waves.
