This single cask single malt scotch was distilled in 1989 at the Bowmore Distillery on the Island of Islay on 3rd April 1989 and was bottled in May 2007. Matured in sherry wood casks and bottled at cask strength 57.4%. Bottled by Iain Mackillop and Co LTD part of the Mackillop's Choice range.
Predominantly smoky as you get with Bowmore, on the nose it has notes of dark treacle, smoky wood and pepper corns. On the palate it is smoky, spice. cream and lavender coming to a finish that gives smoky ember and coffee notes.
