The second release from Edradour in their peaty discovery series, released in July 2007. Limited to 6000 bottles and matured in entirely first fill Madeira casks.
In times long since gone, Edradour was one of the 7 farm distilleries operating in Perthshire. Today it is the only one remaining. Ballechin was one of the original farm distilleries and operated from 1810 to 1927. This bottling is a tribute to the efforts of the pioneering farmers and resurrected the name Ballechin.
