Linkwood 15years old is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottled by Gordon and MacPhail.

On the nose this is fresh and fragrant with heavy sherry notes and then develops into fruity notes. On the palate this is heavy sweetness, very smooth and creamy with a delicate spicy edge. Some nutty influences such as Brazil nuts. A couple drops of water open this up and bring fragrant floral notes with violet present in the background. On the palate with a few drops of water this becomes warming with hints of ground black pepper. All round this is well balanced and sweet with a medium finish.
