Distilled in 2001 at the Dalmore Distillery and bottled in 2015 by Gordon and MacPhail as part of the Connoisseurs Choice range. The Highlands are noted for varying styles of Single Malt: from spicy aromatic whiskies in the north to the fuller, slightly peaty and nutty whiskies of the south.
On the nose there are notes of green apple, pear and melon. Tropical pineapple notes are complemented by eucalyptus edge. On the palate it explodes with spice initially followed by banana, grapefruit and toasted walnuts. Lime citrus notes combine with lingering liquorice notes on the tongue.
