Description
El Coto was founded in 1970 and now has over 700 hectares of vineyard in production across the three Rioja sub-zones - Rioja Baja, Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Alta. This estate uses grape for the Verdejo which are found 850 meters above sea level.
The 2017 vintage was harvested 15 days earlier than the previous year due to the spring and summer being very warm. This is a pale yellow with a slight green hue tint, on the nose it shows off aromas of fresh and zesty citrus fruits with white peach alongside the floral notes. On the palate the wine is zingy and elegant which accumulates to a long refreshing finish.
