This is the third batch of the Winter Storm, experimental 21 year old icewine cask finished whisky. First released in October 2017, this is the long awaited second batch and is set to be as popular as the first batch!

After experimnenting with several French oak Icewine casks from a Canadian winery, filling them with Glenfiddich aged malts for upto 6 months. What he discovered was that only those whiskys that had been aged for 21 years could cope with the extra icewine intensity. Containing more tannins that have been extracted from years i oak these malts brig a unique fresh lychee note instead of sweetness.

The taste is an outstanding and perfect combination of both the legendary and pioneering liquids, the heightened candied sweetness and oakiness of the Glenfiddich are met and complimented with tropical fruit notes and a luscuous sweetness from the Icewine cask finish.
