Chablis Ier Cru Fourchaume 2019 Daniel Senguinot 75cl
Limited stock
This Ier Cru Chablis Fourchaume has been produced by Domaine Daniel Seguinot who own a small 27 hectare vineyard in Maligny in the very North of Chablis. The wines are now made by his daughters, Laurence and Emilie who have moved towards wines with no oak influence which are very linear, clean wines show intense mineral characters. This particular cuvee is sourced from a small 4 hectare site of South-West facing slopes, which produce fully ripened grapes despite the cooler climate. This is a fine, elegant wine showing intense texture and terrior of the region. Ripeness is balanced by minerality and a racy acidity that begs you to take another sip and discover more of the intriguing flavours. Ideally served with Cornish crab or smoked haddock but equally suited to white meats or salads.
