Description
Adobe Reserva Pinot Noir is an organically produced wine, made with grapes sourced from the Bio Bio valley which has a Mediterranean climate of warm days and cool nights. The vines and grown on red clay soil with a higher than average rainfall to other regions of Chile. Light pressing and cool fermentation maintains colour and aromas with high tannins, 20% of the wine is then aged for 6 months in French oak to add complexity.
The resulting wine is light red in colour with aromas of red berry fruits with a hint of mineralilty. Elegant and delicate with ripe cherry fruit balanced by fine tannins that are ripe and juicy. This wine punches well above its price for quality.
Food match: Ideal with fish and shellfish cooked with creamy sauces or butter. Also it pairs well with white meats such as chicken or turkey and as aperitif served with ham, such as Serrano or Prosciutto. It is an excellent accompaniment to sushi.
