Morvedren is made by the guys at the Pocketful Of Stones Distillery and is the first absinthe to be made in Cornwall. It uses wormwood grown locally to the distillery and the artwork on the packaging is outstanding. It depicts the Morveren, the mermaid of Zennor and the inspiration for this absinthe. Legend tells that on a calm night, the voice of a local man named Matthew can be heard singing across the waves after he fell in love with the mermaid.
