The reserve range, named after the indigenous Renosterveld of the area, is cleverly produced by combining no more than two to three vineyard blocks. These are often from opposite hillsides, allowing combinations of fruit from different mesoclimates, creating great depth and character.
Delightful aromas of sweet fruit, dark berries, Turkish Delight with rich dark chocolate and hints of sweet wood spice. Soft and velvety on the palate with hints of sweet spice and vanilla. Full bodied and well integrated with wood, this wine is balanced by silky tannins and a lingering aftertaste. A wine to match with tender red meats such as venison, lamb and steak, preferably medium rare.
