This Bunnahabhain is a limited edition sequel to the previously released Toiteach. The name of this whisky literally means 'smoky two' in reference to the peated character of this Islay single malt, a departure from the distillery's usual drams. It's matured in both bourbon and sherry casks with the sherry having a greater bearing on the flavour to the previous release.
The nose entices you in with peat smoke and sherry with the palate repeating this but with the addition of rich oak and peppery notes. The finish is long and robust, allowing you to truly savour the flavours of this fine single malt.
