Description
The name of this wine 'Les Six' refers to the number of grape varieties used in this cuvee: Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Counoise and Carignan Noir. Grapes are sourced from the Chalky clay soils high above the village of Cairanne and the inclusion of six grape varieties gives a different style, one of elegance and expression from the older vines. Rich and full in the glass there is elegance and freshness, with layers of fruits with lush tannins, peppery spice with red and black fruits. Grenache Noir 50%, Mourvèdre 10%, Syrah 10%, Carignan Noir 10%, Cinsault 10%, Counoise 10%. Drink with most grilled meats or try with herb crusted lamb.
