Highland Park Valkyrie, the first in the Viking Legends Series, celebrates the rich Nordic ancerstory of Orkney. Named after Odin's handmaidens, the Valkyries would descend onto the battlefield on giant wings, picking the dead who had fought bravely and taking them to Valhalla where they would feast and preapre for Ragnarok, the battle that would take place at the end of the world.
Creamy vanilla wraps itself around sweet preserved ginger and luscious dark chocolate. Hints of salty black liquorice and the crackle of a smouldering bonfire. Perfectly balanced, the long and lingering finish delivers waves of warm aromatic smoke and richly ripened fruit.
