Matured in the traditional style in American bourbon barrels, this whisky is then finished in Tawny Port Hogsheads, sourced from the Douro region in the north of Portugal. During this second period of maturation, the whisky derives a rich red fruit taste distinctive to the Port hogshead.
A perfect balance of fresh cranberries and warm white pepper develops to a combination of tart raspberries and boiled candy on the nose. Delicious toasted oak spices and hints of orange peel develop to a lively contrast of wild red berry compote and sour cherries, followed by a rich stewed barley character.

This 12 year old from Benriach has been matured in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Zimenez sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. The result is a malt with rich spices, mocha and sultanas on the nose, figs, sultanas, vanilla and spice with dark chocolate.
