The Benromach 1973 Single Malt Cask 4606 is a very rare and exclusive bottling of just 41 bottles. This is to be released in the UK only, sorry rest of the world!
The whisky is fairly dark, however it has been maturing in an American White Oak Bourbon Barrel remade into a Hogshead for the duration of its 43 year maturation. An exceedingly rare character of exotic fruits
with ginger, dark chocolate and dried tobacco hints, this is truly are remarkable and highly collectable whisky.
Benromach 1973 is presented in a bespoke wooden box, made in oak, and designed to reflect the colour of the wooden washbacks at Benromach Distillery.
The box comprises a Cut shape medallion in copper, which represents that perfect moment when the distillers cut to the heart of the run.
The neck and shoulder shape of the bespoke decanter style bottle was designed to reflect the shape of the stills at Benromach. It has a heavy base and intricate detail, also with a copper Cut medallion.
The copper collar, stopper and Cut badge are designed to reflect the gleaming copper colour of our pot stills.
The label is heavy weight and luxurious; embossing and foiling create a tactile effect.
Within the wooden box, the story of the Benromach 1973 is told in a beautifully written hardback book.
