Glansa is the new single malt from the Scapa distillery, the name means shining storm-laden skies in Norse. This malt has been given a little peat-treatment with and extra resting period in casks which previously held peated malt. The result is honey smoothness with soft fruits but richer in style than Skiren with a smoky edge.

:Nose: Fruity sweet with notes of soft peach, pineapple, vanilla intermingled with subtle bonfire smoke
Taste: Peach and ripe pear flavours and creamy caramel toffee and vanilla balanced perfectly with soft smoke
Finish: Very long with a markedly smoky finish
