This has been aged in first fill sherry casks before it it then shipped to the Shetlands Isles for a further 12 months aging. This unique climate of gales, salt spray, and summer sun has an infulenec on the whisky as it matures. The result is a malt which is rich and full of fruit, smooth and distinguished.
