Concertmaster is a single malt whisky that stresses the singular character yet does not lose its comprehensive harmony. Portuguese ruby, tawny and vintage Port casks are used to develop the main flavour, combining Ka Va Lan's unique Taiwanese whisky attributes to compose a harmonic symphony. Presenting a natural colour free from additives, its original flavour with a port finish is composed of layers of flavours and fragrances.

The air in Yilan, where Kavalan whisky is distilled, is considered to be pure and fresh in Taiwan. It is the fresh air that gives Kavalan whisky its smooth, creamy and refreshing character. Kavalan Concertmaster single malt whisky is first matured in specially selected American oak casks and then finished in port barriques. Port, a fortified wine, is traditionally made in Douro valley in Portugal. The marrying in the barriques mellows the flavours and adds indefinable smoothness to the whisky. Kavalan Concertmaster was awarded silver medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
