Puligny Montrachet is situated between the villages of Meursault and Chassagne. This village, style wise has the most finesse and elegance of any of the white Burgundy villages and gives its name to some of the most illustrious wines such as Montrachet or Chevalier-Montrachet.The 2009 vintage has a nice pale gold color with green shades. Intense nose developping woody notes, lemon, slightly toasted, spices and hawthorn. Fleshy mouth, elegant, with a lingering finish. A very promising wine.
