A superb Beaune Ier Cru from Jaffelin from a single domaine Sue les Greves, Clos Saint Anne. Rigorous selection and traditional methods of vinification and elevage ensure that the wines gives the truest expression of the terroir. Generally speaking, the Sur les Grves is known for its colour and subtle, elegant aromas. On the palate, this wine shows off its complexity and suppleness. This vintage is deep violet-red in colour, tinged with silver highlights. The nose is fruity with dominant aromas of cherry and blackcurrant, which are surrounded by a very delicate oakiness. Very silky, smooth texture thanks to well-aged tannins. A touch of oak lends aromatic complexity (undergrowth, toast, mocha).
