Lujan de Cuyo is known historically as the prime zone for wine-growing in Mendoza. Its high altitude location at around 2,500 feet, in combination with a semi-desert climate and low-nutrient gravelly soils provide ideal conditions for cultivation of high quality fruit.

It exhibits aromas of smoke, spice box, violet, damp earth, black currant, and blackberry leading to a full-bodied wine with layers of savory flavor, great depth and concentration, and enough well-concealed structure to evolve for 2-3 years. Although it can be enjoyed now, it will provide pleasure for another 10 years.
