Ripe aromatics with layers of peach, floral and honeyed notes which mingle with mountain herbs and a sweeter mandarin skin and apple note. Generous on the palate with a weighty leesy texture, ripe fruit and minerality all balanced by a refreshing smack of acidity.

La Val is a relative newcomer who, since the bodega was founded 20 years ago, has grown to become one of the largest vineyard owners in Ras Baixas, with over 90 hectares. As a result, this is one of the most reliable sources of good quality, moderately-priced Albario.

Fermented using natural yeasts and matured on the lees in stainless steel with temperature control.
