Glenfarclas 30 Year Old 70cl
Limited stock
Distillery bottling. Outright trophy winner at the International Spirits Challenge 1996 from an entry of over 110 malts. Described as a full complex aroma combining fruit and spices similar to a fruit cake, an extraordinary deep spirit, warm and rich leaving a lingering fruit and nut chocolate feel on the palate.
Malty marzipan and dried peel on the nose, with more oranges and apricots coming through later- almost marmalade. Initially soft on the palate with malty sweetness and more dried fruit. Well-balanced oak with just a touch coming back as the finish dies, introducing a final kick that contains both mocha and dark espresso notes.
