    The concept of orange bitters pre-dates the prohibition era and was a key ingredient in many classic cocktails. For example the original Martini recipe, "the Martinez" contained orange bitter along with Gin and sweet vermouth.

    Very few bitters survived the prohibition (Angostura aromatic bitters was one of them), and the orange bitters completely disappeared from the back bar. Now, with the resurgence of classic cocktails, there is significant demand for a high quality orange bitters.

    Angostura orange bitters is an essential ingredient for many cocktails, including the daiquiri, classic martini and old fashioned. Its super concentrated flavour also adds tremendous depth to many other vodka, rum, gin and whisky cocktails.
