The ideal serve is between 4 - 6 Celsius so place the bottle in the freezer for 60 minutes before serving to get it to temperature.
In 1717, Amedee Frezier stumbled upon a richly red and unique strawberry fruit while exploring the newly discovered land of Chile. Exicted about his new discovery, Frezier delivered the first strawberry plants ('Fresita' in Spanish) to the royal court in France. Some years later the fragrant fruits delighted the Queen, who enjoyed them with her daily glass of champagne. This is where Fresita takes its inspiration from and we are glad they did.
Although it's elicious on it's own, here are a couple of quick and easy cocktails you can make using Fresita;
- Orange zests
- Pieces of strawberries
- Put all the ingredients in a tumbler glass with ice cubes in it. Decorate with orange zests and pieces of strawberry.
Fresita Tom Collins
- 15cl of gin
- 15cl of regular syrup
- 1clc of lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices
- Strawberry slices
- Mix the 45cl of Gin, the 15cl of regular syrup and the 15cl of lemon juice in the cocktail shaker. Add the ice cubes and shake for 15 seconds.
- Serve in a tumbler glass with ice and fill the rest of the glass with Fresita. Decorate with a slice of lemon, a piece of strawberry and some cranberries.
