Elements Eight Cacao is a new rum from St Lucia using the finest aged rums from the Island and a barrel infusion of St Lucian Criollo Cacao beans. The rum spends 3-4 weeks infusing with the Cacao beans to impart a velvety lacing of dark chocolate notes to the rum.
The infusion stretches the rums appeal; it can be drunk as a single serve chilled with a twist of orange peel or in a wide array of classic cocktails including; Espresso Martini, Daiquri and Old Fashioned; where it adds a subtle cacao flavour and accentuates the flavours in the base rum. This is a sophisticated rum which needs to be subtly balanced with other ingredients in cocktails.
