Ruby-red core, with garnet hues and an intense, full, ethereal and very persistent bouquet. The palate is harmonious, with hints of wild cherry and fruits of the forest.
Cumaro is the Greek name for Mount Conero, where soil and a maritime microclimate marry together to form an ideal grape growing terroir. This world renowned wine is one of Umani Ronchi's icons.
From a selection of the best grapes of the 'San Lorenzo' vineyard in Sbrozzola, Osimo. The vineyard lies at an altitude of 150/200 meters. Alcoholic fermentation on the skins takes place for 10/12 days at 27C, followed by malolactic fermentation at controlled temperature. The wine is then matured for 16 months in Allier and Tronais barriques and then bottle aged in a temperature-controlled room for at least a further 7 months.Grape Varieties
